welcome to my kitesurfing blog: Liquid-Surfschool.com

kiteboarding schoolThis website is for the next generation of groms it is somewhere for them to blog , share pictures and find out where it’s at. I would like a one stop shop for all groms to know what’s hot and what’s not in the grom surfing scene. My name is Mary King; I have a passion for kitesurfing and have done so from a very young age. I have travelled Europe extensively from the North coast of France to the far South of Portugal and then to Scotland which really made my kite surfing improve. Living in Cornwall and being a mother of three surfing girl’s, I quickly realised that there is nothing out there for the younger surfers that enables them to communicate with each other and share information.

Hey Guys, it's been a hectic few weeks for me and this up date is well overdue. Recently I've spent a few weeks staying with some friends in North Devon where I've been on the water whenever there's been wind but opportunities have been few and far between - I'm sure you would all agree! We had one amazing session in 40knots+ on my 7m Naish Torch. It was great fun to be back on a small and fast little kite! Glenn from Surfed Out and myself were lucky enough to have the beach to ourselves and we were privileged enough to have a professional photographer, Stuart Leche, on the beach taking pictures of us... Photos will be up soon!

Anyway, I'm back home now and I've had a few days rest where I've been super busy getting everything ready for the next trip, off to Hong Kong to visit some family and friends. I've been there a few times now but this will be the first time I take my kitesurfing course Phuket lesson! I've been put in touch with a couple of local riders who run the kiteboarding scene out there so hopefully, even though the wind is unpredictable, I should be able to get a chance to go out and ride with them! I'm extremely excited as it will be my first time kiting abroad! Can't wait! What's more is the guys at S2AS have set me up with an Axon A Bomb board to demo and review while I'm out there. I'm really looking forward to trying it out. I'm going to be trying it with a number of different set-ups - I will be putting my new Slingshot Option Wakestyle Bindings on it and riding it finless so I can see how it performs on the wakestyle side of things. This will be my first time riding in boots - it's always been something I want to try out... I will also be riding it with the standard set up - i.e footstraps and fins so that I can find out what it is like for the type of people who want to ride like that.

Right, i'm off to go and pack for Hong Kong - trying to avoid extra baggage costs by putting my kites and gear in a suitcase! This should be interesting!

I recommend kiteboards for sale

I will have a load of reviews up within the next few weeks so keep checking back here for more updates and goodies from me...

Make the most of your riding - everyone dies, but not everyone lives...
